Cisco Network Security Engineer/ Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role you help design, deploy, and manage Cisco security solutions to protect client environments and enable secure digital transformation. You will work with cross-functional teams within Deloitte’s Cyber practice to deliver resilient security architectures and guidance. The role focuses on implementing Cisco security platforms across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid setups, and translating technical needs into business-aligned recommendations. You’ll influence security strategy and contribute to client-ready deliverables that drive measurable risk reduction. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and manage Cisco FTD/FMC across enterprise environments (physical, virtual, cloud) * Implement and support Cisco ISE capabilities including 802.1X, profiling, guest lifecycle, and TrustSec * Configure and tune features like IPS, malware protection, URL filtering, DNS-based security, SSL/TLS decryption policies * Deploy and integrate Cisco Secure Firewall in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with centralized policy management * Develop client-facing security architectures and integrate Cisco platforms with SIEM and automation tools * Deliver recommendations aligning technical requirements with compliance and business objectives * Lead projects or workstreams and provide clear guidance to others * Travel up to 50% and adapt to fast-paced client environments Tasks * BA/BS in a technical field * CCNP Security or CCIE Security * 5+ years of network security engineering with Cisco technologies * 5+ years designing, deploying, and managing FTD and FMC (physical, virtual, cloud) * 5+ years designing and implementing Cisco ISE (distributed, HA, patching, upgrades) * 3+ years ISE 802.1X NAC, guest lifecycle, profiling, TrustSec, and Cisco security features (IPS, malware, URL filtering, DNS security, SSL/TLS decryption) * Experience deploying Cisco security in AWS/Azure/GCP * Ability to travel up to 50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
