Cisco Network Security Engineer/ Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role you design, deploy, and manage Cisco security solutions to protect client environments as part of Deloitte’s Cyber team. You will build architectures and roadmaps that align security requirements with business objectives, spanning on-prem, campus, data center, and cloud deployments. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable networks while driving transformation and resilience for clients. This role offers hands-on technical leadership with meaningful impact on security posture and cloud integration. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and manage Cisco FTD/FMC across enterprise environments (physical, virtual, cloud) * Implement and support Cisco ISE including 802.1X NAC, device profiling, guest lifecycle, and TrustSec * Configure and tune IPS, malware protection, URL filtering, DNS security, SSL/TLS decryption policies * Deploy and integrate Cisco Secure Firewall in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with centralized policy management * Develop client-facing security architectures and integrate Cisco with SIEM and automation tools, aligning tech with compliance and business objectives * Lead projects or workstreams and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment * Provide clear guidance and mentorship to team members * Travel up to 50% as required and support flexible client engagements Tasks * BA/BS in a technical field * CCNP Security or CCIE Security certification * 5+ years in network security engineering with Cisco tech * 5+ years designing, deploying, and managing FTD and FMC in enterprise environments (physical, virtual, cloud) * 5+ years designing/implementing Cisco ISE (distributed nodes, HA, patching, upgrade planning) * 3+ years with ISE 802.1X NAC, guest lifecycle, profiling, TrustSec, and Cisco security features including IPS, URL filtering, DNS security, SSL/TLS decryption, and cloud firewall deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP) * Ability to travel up to 50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
