Cisco Network Security Engineer/ Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview As a Senior Consultant in Deloitte Cyber, you design, deploy, and optimize Cisco security solutions to help clients navigate evolving threats. You work with cross-functional teams to translate security needs into resilient architectures across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. You’ll shape strategy, roadmaps, and implementation plans that align technology with business goals, delivering measurable security improvements. This role combines hands-on engineering with advisory work in a transformative, growth-focused practice. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and manage Cisco FTD/FMC across enterprise environments (physical, virtual, cloud) * Implement and support Cisco ISE capabilities including 802.1X, profiling, guest lifecycle, TrustSec, and integration with identity stores * Configure and tune security features (IPS, malware protection, URL filtering, DNS security, SSL/TLS decryption) * Deploy and integrate Cisco Secure Firewall in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with centralized policy management * Develop client-facing security architectures and integrate Cisco platforms with SIEM and automation tools * Lead projects or workstreams and provide clear guidance to team members * Produce assessments, target-state architectures, roadmaps, and executive-ready deliverables * Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic consulting environment * Travel up to 50% as required * Support immigration sponsorship where applicable Tasks * BA/BS in a technical field * CCNP Security or CCIE Security * 5+ years of network security engineering with Cisco security technologies * 5+ years designing, deploying, and managing Cisco FTD/FMC in enterprise environments * 5+ years designing and implementing Cisco ISE (distributed architectures, HA, patch management, upgrades) * 3+ years with Cisco ISE 802.1X, guest lifecycle, profiling, TrustSec, and Cisco security features in cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP) * Ability to travel up to 50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
