Cyber - Google SecOps - Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview As a Cyber SecOps Senior Consultant, you help clients strengthen security operations through scalable Google SecOps deployments, threat detection engineering, and automation. You will work with cross-functional teams to design and implement SIEM/SOAR architectures, build robust log ingestion pipelines, and tune threat detection content. The role focuses on delivering secure, compliant, and efficient cyber operations that scale with enterprise needs. You can expect a hands-on, collaborative environment with a meaningful impact on clients’ security posture. Compensation / Benefits * Design and implement secure, scalable Google SecOps architectures for SIEM and SOAR * Lead log ingestion pipelines using data fabric tech and API integrations (Bindplane, cloud feeds) * Collaborate with SOC analysts and threat detection engineers to develop and refine threat detection content * Translate security operations processes into SOAR playbooks and custom integrations * Build case management solutions within Google SecOps SOAR and mentor junior teammates * Stay current on threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance trends * Support operational metrics and analyst workflows Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience * 7+ years in security operations, threat detection engineering, or enterprise IT security * Experience with Google Cloud SecOps stack (SIEM/SOAR) * Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain * Python for automation/integration * Experience with Gostash or Logstash; ETL pipelines and tools like Cribl, Bindplane, NXLog, Kafka * Ability to travel ~50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
