Cyber - Google SecOps - Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this Cyber SecOps Senior Consultant role, you help clients design scalable, resilient Google SecOps deployments and automate security operations. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to strengthen monitoring, detection, and response within SIEM/SOAR architectures. You’ll translate security processes into automated workflows, build case management, and mentor junior staff. This position offers meaningful impact by advancing clients’ security posture and operational efficiency in a fast-paced, advisory environment. Compensation / Benefits * Design and implement secure, scalable Google SecOps architectures for SIEM and SOAR deployments * Lead log ingestion pipeline deployments using data fabric tech and API integrations (Bindplane, cloud feeds) * Collaborate with SOC analysts and threat detection engineers to tune threat detection content in Google SecOps * Translate security operations processes into SOAR playbooks and custom integrations for automation * Build case management solutions within Google SecOps SOAR and mentor junior team members Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems * 7+ years in security operations, threat detection engineering, or enterprise IT security * Experience with Google Cloud SecOps stack (SIEM/SOAR) * Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain * Python for automation and integration development * Experience with log normalization/parsing tools (Gostash or Logstash) and ETL pipelines (Cribl, Bindplane, NXLog, Kafka) * Ability to travel ~50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
