Solutions Architect, Manager - Tax Transformation

Experteer Overview As a Deloitte Tax Solution Architect, Manager, you help build enterprise web-based applications that meet high standards while aligning with Deloitte’s tax transformation goals. You work with stakeholders to shape architecture and roadmaps, mentor teams, and ensure secure, scalable delivery. You collaborate across delivery teams and DevOps to deploy and operate backend services, driving value for clients. This role offers influence over how we engage clients, deliver services, and operate at scale in a digital-first tax practice. Compensation / Benefits * Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges, prioritize requirements, and design architecture options and roadmaps * Partner with Architecture team to meet resiliency and design standards across systems * Make high-level design choices for software structure, frameworks, and algorithms; stay current with industry trends * Provide hands-on support to the team in implementing complex business logic * Plan and drive software development projects, participate in SCRUM, and ensure timely, quality delivery * Implement security best practices and ensure regulatory compliance * Establish standards, metrics, and performance targets for fast value delivery; ensure application performance and quality * Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to maintain delivery standards and automation * Identify and mitigate product risks; escalate as needed * Lead code reviews, coach on best practices, and develop architecture and design documentation Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field * 5+ years of architecture design and hands-on implementation experience * Strong hands-on experience with C#, SQL Server, OOPS concepts, Microservices Architecture * Experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, SQL, NoSQL, RestAPI, microservices, Azure, Design Patterns, Agile * Proven experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure * Ability to travel up to 10% * Active accreditations such as CPA/Attorney/Enrolled Agent or technology certifications listed * Preferred: distributed computing, Angular, MongoDB, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps/CI-CD, serverless and event-driven architectures Key requirements *
