Solutions Architect, Manager - Tax Transformation

Experteer Overview As a Deloitte Tax Solution Architect, Manager, you help build enterprise web apps that meet high standards and enable Deloitte’s tax transformation. You work with cross-functional partners to shape architecture, roadmap, and secure, scalable delivery. You support hands-on implementation, drive timely, high-quality outcomes, and coach teams on best practices. This role sits in a mission-driven Tax Transformation Office focused on delivering innovative, enterprise technology for tax services. Compensation / Benefits * Collaborate with stakeholders to define challenges, assess feasibility, set priorities, and sketch architecture options and roadmaps. * Partner with Architecture team to design and improve architecture to meet resiliency and quality standards. * Make high-level design choices for software structure, frameworks, and algorithms. * Provide hands-on support in implementing complex business logic and algorithms. * Plan and execute software projects with timely delivery and quality, participating in daily SCRUM updates. * Apply security best practices to protect data and ensure regulatory compliance. * Establish standards, guidelines, and metrics to deliver value quickly and efficiently; ensure performance and responsiveness. * Coordinate across delivery teams and vendors to uphold delivery standards and code quality. * Identify, mitigate, and escalate product-related risks proactively. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features; work with DevOps for deployment and operation of backend services. * Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback; mentor team on coding practices and tool usage. * Develop and maintain architecture/design documentation. Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field * 5+ years of architecture design and hands-on experience in C#, SQL Server, OOPS concepts, and microservices * Hands-on experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, SQL, NoSQL, REST APIs, microservices, Azure, and design patterns * Proven experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure * Willingness to travel up to 10% * Active accreditations such as CPA/Attorney/Enrolled Agent or technology certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, CISSP, SAFe, CSSLP) * Proficiency in Agile, DevOps, and cloud-based development practices * Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills Key requirements *
