Job description

Experteer Overview As a Deloitte Tax Solution Architect, Manager, you drive enterprise-scale web applications within the Tax Transformation Office. You collaborate with architecture and delivery teams to shape technical roadmaps, ensure resiliency, and guide secure, high-quality software delivery. You’ll mentor engineers, participate in agile planning, and align solutions with regulatory and security requirements. This role offers impact across global tax services by advancing digital transformation and modern architecture. Compensation / Benefits * Understand business challenges with stakeholders and define architecture options and roadmaps * Collaborate with Architecture and delivery teams to design and improve architecture for resiliency * Make high-level design choices for software structure, frameworks, and algorithms * Hands-on implementation support for complex business logic * Plan and execute software projects, participate in SCRUM, and ensure timely, quality outcomes * Implement security best practices and ensure regulatory compliance * Set and enforce standards, guidelines, and performance metrics for timely value delivery * Coordinate across delivery teams and vendors to uphold delivery standards and quality * Identify, mitigate, and escalate product-related risks * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design new features and support DevOps for backend deployment * Conduct code reviews and coach team on coding practices * Maintain architecture/design documentation * Provide guidance on development tools and technology pathfinding Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field * 5+ years in architecture design and hands-on implementation including C#, SQL Server, OOPS concepts, and Microservices * Hands-on experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, SQL, NoSQL, REST APIs, microservices, Azure; familiarity with design patterns and Agile * Proven experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure * Ability to travel up to 10% * Professional accreditations (CPA/Attorney/Enrolled Agent or relevant technology certifications) * Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and related cloud/DevOps concepts * Preferred: Master’s degree in computer science or related field * Knowledge of Angular, MongoDB, NPM; Azure DevOps Build/Release; Docker and Kubernetes; serverless and event-driven architectures * Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills Key requirements *
