Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you lead forward-deployed engineering pods to design and deploy GenAI solutions for top clients, shaping technical direction and delivery. You’ll be the senior engineering partner, balancing hands-on work with executive-level influence. The position blends onshore and offshore delivery to maximize speed and scale, with a strong focus on producing production-grade AI platforms and trusted client relationships. You join a mission-driven team transforming client operations through data, AI, and analytics. Compensation / Benefits * Serve as the senior client-facing engineering partner for product, data, and platform leadership * Lead discovery with executives, define success metrics, and plan prototyping to production scaling * Influence and align executive sponsors and IT/business owners around a shared AI-enabled vision * Represent Deloitte’s FDE capability in client pursuits and platform partner engagements, contributing to pipeline and deal shaping * Lead FDE pods (2-5 engineers) and manage delivery health, feasibility, risks, and resource allocation * Enforce delivery standards (sprint cadences, communications, risk management, quality gates) across pods * Coordinate multi-pod engagements ensuring reliable architecture and consistent client experience * Architect and oversee GenAI solution delivery including copilots, agent workflows, and knowledge search * Guide prompt engineering, tool-use patterns, and human-in-the-loop controls * Govern end-to-end RAG pipeline design (ingestion, embedding, retrieval, hybrid search) for production-grade quality * Review production-quality code and contribute to data pipelines powering GenAI use cases * Enforce data management, testing, CI/CD, logging, versioning, and documentation practices * Deep familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering * 10+ years in software/data/analytics engineering roles * 6+ years building and deploying GenAI/LLM-powered solutions in client or production settings * 6+ years Databricks experience with Lakeflow Connect, Lakebase, Agent Bricks, Model Serving, Genie, or Databricks Apps * 6+ years leading project workstreams and translating business problems into AI solutions * 5+ years building reliable, maintainable code and CI/CD in Databricks * Ability to travel ~50% * Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship * Professional Databricks certifications (required) Key requirements *
