Experteer Overview As a Lead Databricks FDE, you guide senior client-facing engineering pods that deliver GenAI-enabled solutions into production for Deloitte’s strategic clients. You set technical direction, clear delivery blockers, and remain hands-on in design, review, and debugging. You translate trade-offs for executive stakeholders and leverage global delivery to scale. You lead cross-functional pods, drive governance, and ensure high-quality engineering and data foundations in cloud environments. This role blends client leadership with hands-on technical delivery to advance AI-driven transformation. Compensation / Benefits * Lead onshore and offshore engineering pods (2-5 engineers) to deliver GenAI solutions * Set delivery standards: sprints, stakeholder comms, risk management, quality gates * Guide multi-pod engagements for reliable architecture and consistent client experience * Architect and oversee GenAI solution delivery (co-pilots, agentic workflows, knowledge search) * Define prompt engineering, tool-use patterns, and human-in-the-loop controls * Govern end-to-end RAG pipelines (ingestion, embedding, retrieval, hybrid search) * Define evaluation frameworks for quality, latency, cost, governance * Review production-quality code and guide data pipelines powering GenAI use cases * Enforce data management, CI/CD, logging, versioning, and docs * Mentor junior FDEs and collaborate with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering * 10+ years in software engineering, data engineering, data science, or analytics engineering * 6+ years building and deploying GenAI/LLM-powered solutions in client or production environments * 6+ years of experience with Databricks and related platform technologies (Lakeflow Connect, Lakebase, Agent Bricks, Model Serving, Genie, Databricks Apps) * 6+ years leading project workstreams and translating business problems into AI solutions * 5+ years building reliable, maintainable code and CI/CD in Databricks * Ability to travel ~50% * Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship * Professional Databricks certifications (required) Key requirements *
