Senior, SAP Tax Technology - Global Trade

Experteer Overview In this Senior Consultant role within Deloitte’s SAP Global Trade group you help clients maximize SAP investments and streamline digital-enabled processes. You’ll guide design-thinking grounded transformations to enable scalable, compliant global trade operations and modernize systems with SAP solutions. You work with cross-functional teams to assess, design, and deploy trade and supply chain capabilities while contributing to a growing SAP GTS practice. This is a people- and impact-driven opportunity to shape international trade outcomes for multinational clients. Compensation / Benefits * Assess current information systems and map gaps to business requirements during workshops * Collaborate with clients to implement technology solutions for international trade management * Plan compliance initiatives and explore automated import/export solutions * Create customized solutions and draft functional designs with clear, decision-oriented thinking * Support new business processes in global trade and related functions (supply chain) * Deliver and support complex SAP GTS projects in a fast-paced team setting * Share expertise through forums to grow Deloitte’s collective knowledge * Contribute to the growth of the SAP GTS practice globally Tasks * 5+ years of relevant SAP consulting or industry experience * Experience implementing one or more SAP GTS modules (Compliance Management, Customs Management, Trade Preference) * Technical or functional lead on at least two full lifecycle SAP implementations * Experience with SAP ECC or S/4 modules (SD, MM, LE) * Bachelor’s degree in a legal, business or technology related field * Ability to travel up to 10% per assignments/clients * Active or eligible accreditations such as CPA, attorney, Enrolled Agent, or relevant certifications (e.g., US Customhouse Broker, CUSECO, CUSICO) * Experience delivering client presentations and managing cross-functional teams * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills * Knowledge of export/import regulations (ITAR/EAR) and end-to-end processes * Ability to work in a hybrid model (2-3 days on-site in US) Key requirements * Discretionary annual incentive program * Hybrid work model (2-3 days on-site) * Inclusive culture and professional development * Accommodation for disabilities * Broad range of benefits (as part of Deloitte) * Opportunities for mentorship and career growth
