Workday HCM Functional Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role you help clients transform their HR landscape by leading Workday functional implementations and optimizations. You will translate business needs into functional designs, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure smooth testing, deployment, and stabilization. You’ll work within Deloitte’s HR Strategy & Technology practice to drive workforce experience and HR capability, tackling complex challenges at scale. This is a client-facing, impact-driven role that blends domain knowledge with hands-on configuration and design. Compensation / Benefits * Lead Workday functional implementation, enhancement, and optimization activities * Gather business requirements and translate into functional designs and configurations * Facilitate client meetings to align scope, priorities, and deliverables * Support testing, defect resolution, deployment, and stabilization activities * Prepare deliverables and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute project work Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent * 4+ years of Experience supporting or leading Workday HCM implementations or optimization projects * 4+ years of experience leading workstreams on Workday implementations with knowledge in 2+ HCM areas (e.g., HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Performance Management, Talent) * Experience participating in at least 2 end-to-end Workday implementations * Ability to travel ~50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
