Microsoft Purview and Data Governance Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role you help clients strengthen data governance and regulatory compliance by designing and delivering Microsoft Purview solutions. You will work on large-scale transformation across assessment, design, implementation, and optimization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve security posture. You’ll lead technical health checks, deployments, and integration of Purview and related Microsoft security tools, shaping governance strategy and operating models. This position offers client-facing impact and the chance to drive measurable risk reduction and data protection. Compensation / Benefits * Assess client data governance and compliance environments and propose Purview capabilities (DLP, Compliance Manager, eDiscovery, Information Protection) * Design and implement Purview solutions for data classification, labeling, retention, and governance across enterprise environments * Conduct technical health checks, discovery, and remediation for Purview deployments including audit and policy reviews * Support proofs of concept, deployment, integration, and post-implementation activities for Purview and adjacent Microsoft security technologies * Advise clients on data governance strategy, lifecycle management, and operating model improvements to strengthen security and reduce risk Tasks * 4+ years in technical consulting, problem-solving, solution architecture, or design for Microsoft Purview or related technologies * 4+ years hands-on experience implementing or operating Purview capabilities (classification, labeling, protection, eDiscovery, DLP, compliance reporting) * 4+ years experience designing and implementing data governance or compliance controls in Microsoft environments * Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field * Ability to travel up to 50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
