Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead strategic and practical data protection initiatives for clients, shaping encryption and PKI strategies across hybrid environments. You will design and operate data protection solutions, guide governance and risk oversight, and ensure on-time delivery while staying ahead of evolving encryption trends. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable security architectures. This is a chance to influence clients’ cyber posture at scale and advance Deloitte’s mission to secure client success. Compensation / Benefits * Serve as SME and trusted advisor on data protection and encryption requirements * Advise on encryption, decryption, secure key management, and PKI strategies across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments * Design, implement, and operate data protection solutions, including certificate lifecycle management and infrastructure monitoring * Drive day-to-day engagement execution, communicate updates to clients and leadership, and track timelines for on-time/on-budget delivery * Stay current on encryption technologies and industry trends; evaluate and recommend tools to strengthen data security Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in relevant field * 7+ years in data protection and information security (data discovery, classification, DLP, cloud security, encryption, etc.) * 7+ years with PKI concepts and enterprise trust models * 5+ years leading CLM strategy, design, and implementation (AppViewX, Venafi, Keyfactor, DigiCert, or similar) * Advanced knowledge of cryptography, certificate lifecycle, key management, HSM integration, crypto policy enforcement * Ability to define target-state architecture and operating models for large-scale environments * Hands-on certificate automation across load balancers, WAFs, API gateways, Kubernetes, cloud, and servers * Experience leading discovery, inventory rationalization, remediation, renewal automation, and compliance monitoring * Strong client leadership, executive stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation * Ability to lead technical workstreams and manage on/offshore teams * Experience translating business/operational/security requirements into architecture & implementation plans * Understanding of delivery governance, risk management, dependencies, and QA for enterprise security transformations * Willingness to travel 25-50% Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * professional development opportunities * mentorship programs * inclusive culture * broad range of benefits supported by Deloitte
