Cyber - Google SecOps - Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role, you help design and deploy scalable Google SecOps architectures and automation to strengthen security monitoring and response. You work with cross-functional teams to build efficient, compliant security operations capabilities that support clients’ cyber resilience. You will lead and mentor on threat detection engineering, log ingestion, and SOAR integrations, delivering measurable improvements in detection, response, and operational efficiency. This position offers exposure to high-visibility engagements and cutting-edge security tech within Deloitte’s Cyber Defense & Resilience practice. Compensation / Benefits * Design and implement secure, scalable Google SecOps architectures for SIEM and SOAR deployments * Lead log ingestion pipelines and API integrations using Bindplane and cloud feeds * Collaborate with SOC analysts and threat engineers to tune threat detection content in Google SecOps * Translate security ops processes into SOAR playbooks and automated data flows * Build case management solutions within Google SecOps SOAR and mentor junior team members Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, or equivalent work experience * 7+ years of experience in security operations, threat detection engineering, or enterprise IT security * Experience with Google Cloud SecOps stack (SIEM/SOAR) * Experience with MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain * Experience with Python for automation * Experience with Gostash or Logstash, and ETL pipelines with Cribl, Bindplane, NXLog, or Kafka * Ability to travel 50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
