Lead Palantir Forward Deployed Engineer - GPS

Experteer Overview In this role you guide and deliver GenAI solutions for Deloitte’s strategic clients as the senior engineering lead on embedded pods. You set technical direction, ensure delivery quality, and maintain hands-on credibility while navigating client executives. You help scale prototypes to production across onshore and hybrid delivery models, driving fast, reliable, and scalable AI-enabled platforms. You join cross-functional teams to shape outcomes that improve client performance and enable innovation. Compensation / Benefits * Lead forward-deployed engineering pods and manage onshore/offshore delivery * Define success metrics and phased plans from prototype to production * Architect and oversee GenAI solution delivery (LLMs, copilots, agentic workflows) * Set prompt engineering directions, tool-use patterns, and human-in-the-loop controls * Govern end-to-end RAG pipelines (ingestion, embedding, retrieval, hybrid search) for production quality * Review production-quality code and guide data pipelines and CI/CD practices * Mentor junior engineers and ensure delivery standards (sprints, risk management, quality gates) * Engage with clients at executive level, translating tech trade-offs for leadership * Coordinate multi-pod engagements ensuring consistent client experience * Represent Deloitte FDE in pursuits and platform partner engagements Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering * Active US government security clearance * 10+ years in software/data/analytics engineering * 1+ years hands-on GenAI/LLM deployments in client or production * 1+ years Palantir experience (Foundry, AIP, Maven) * 1+ years leading project workstreams and translating business problems into AI solutions * 1+ years writing reliable, maintainable, well-documented code * Willingness to travel ~50% * Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * broad range of benefits * inclusion and accommodations program * professional development opportunities
