Job description

Experteer Overview As Lead Palantir FDE, you will guide strategic, production-ready GenAI solutions for Deloitte’s top clients, leading forward-deployed engineering pods. You’ll set technical direction, remove blockers, and hands-on design, review, and debugging of systems with your team. You’ll translate complex trade-offs for client leaders and influence decisions at the executive level while maintaining credibility. Pods may operate onshore or in hybrid configurations, leveraging global delivery for speed and scale. You will build trusted advisory relationships and shape multi-pod delivery from prototype to production and scaling, contributing to Deloitte’s impact in AI and data offerings. Compensation / Benefits * Lead forward-deployed engineering pods (2-5 engineers) delivering GenAI solutions in production * Set technical direction and remove delivery blockers; design, review, and debug systems * Translate engineering trade-offs for client executives and maintain technical credibility * Engage as senior client-facing engineering partner for product, data, and platform leaders * Define success metrics and phased plans from prototype to production and scaling * Enforce delivery standards (sprint cadences, communications, risk, quality gates) across pods * Coordinate multi-pod engagements and ensure reliable architecture and client experience * Mentor and develop junior FDEs * Architect and oversee delivery of LLM-enabled apps and RAG pipelines * Define prompt engineering directions, tool-use patterns, and human-in-the-loop controls * Guide end-to-end production-grade data pipelines; ensure data management, CI/CD, logging, and documentation Tasks * Bachelor in Computer Science * Active US government security clearance * 10+ years of software/data/analytics engineering experience * 1+ years building and deploying GenAI/LLM-powered solutions in production * 1+ years of Palantir experience (Foundry, AIP, Maven) * 1+ years leading project workstreams or engagements * 1+ years of building reliable, well-documented code * Ability to travel ~50% * Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future Key requirements *
