Lead Palantir Forward Deployed Engineer - GPS

Experteer Overview In this role you lead embedded, senior-level Palantir FDE engagements with strategic clients to deliver GenAI-enabled solutions. You set direction for pods, balance hands-on engineering with client leadership, and ensure scalable, production-grade delivery. You’ll influence executive sponsors and guide multi-pod delivery in onshore and hybrid setups, driving transformation for high-impact clients. This is a mission-driven opportunity to shape enterprise AI programs at scale and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Lead onshore-anchored and offshore-supported engineering pods (2-5 members) and manage delivery health * Define success metrics and phased plans from prototype to production * Architect and oversee GenAI solution delivery (LLMs, copilots, workflows, knowledge search) * Set prompt engineering direction, tool-use patterns, and human-in-the-loop controls * Govern end-to-end RAG pipeline design (ingestion, embedding, retrieval, hybrid search) with production-grade quality * Review production-quality code and guide data pipelines and CI/CD practices * Mentor junior FDEs and enforce delivery standards across pods * Coordinate multi-pod engagements to ensure reliable architecture and client experience * Engage with clients at executive level to shape vision and success criteria * Represent Deloitte FDE in pursuits, briefs, and platform partner engagements Tasks * Bachelor in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering * Active US government security clearance * 10+ years in software/data/analytics engineering roles * 1+ years building and deploying GenAI/LLM solutions in production * 1+ years Palantir experience (Foundry, AIP, Maven) * 1+ years leading project workstreams and translating business problems to AI solutions * 1+ years delivering maintainable, well-documented code * Ability to travel ~50% * Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship Key requirements *
