Workday HCM Functional Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role, you will lead Workday functional implementations and optimizations within our HR Strategy & Technology team, applying your HCM domain knowledge to translate business needs into actionable configurations. You will partner with clients to align scope and deliverables, drive testing and deployment, and deliver high-quality outcomes that enhance workforce capability. You’ll work cross-functionally to drive HR transformation for Fortune 500 and similar clients, shaping how work is experienced and managed. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with opportunities to mentor others and influence major Workday programs. Compensation / Benefits * Lead Workday functional implementation, enhancement, and optimization activities. * Translate business requirements into functional designs and configuration decisions. * Facilitate client meetings to align on scope, priorities, and deliverables. * Support testing, defect resolution, deployment, and stabilization activities. * Prepare deliverables and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute project work. Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent * 4+ years of experience supporting or leading Workday HCM implementations or optimization projects * 4+ years of experience leading workstreams in Workday implementations with knowledge in 2+ HCM areas (e.g., configuration in Workday HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Performance Management, or Talent) * Experience participating in at least 2 end-to-end Workday implementations * Ability to travel ~50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
