Cisco Network Security Engineer/ Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview As a Senior Consultant in Strategy, Growth, and Transformation, you design, implement, and optimize Cisco security solutions for enterprise networks, spanning on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. You’ll translate client needs into secure architectures and roadmaps, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable resilient digital transformations. This role combines hands-on engineering with strategic guidance, delivering measurable security outcomes for clients. A strong focus on leadership and client impact defines this opportunity. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and manage Cisco FTD and FMC across physical, virtual, and cloud deployments * Implement and support Cisco ISE capabilities including 802.1X, device profiling, guest lifecycle, and TrustSec * Configure and tune security features such as IPS, malware protection, URL filtering, DNS-based security, and SSL/TLS decryption policies * Deploy and integrate Cisco Secure Firewall in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with centralized policy management across hybrid infrastructures * Develop client-facing security architectures and integrate Cisco platforms with SIEM tools and automation solutions, aligning technical, compliance, and business needs * Lead projects or workstreams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment * Provide clear guidance to team members and stakeholders Tasks * BA/BS in a technical field * CCNP Security or CCIE Security required * 5+ years in network security engineering with Cisco technologies * 5+ years deploying and managing FTD and FMC in enterprise environments (physical, virtual, cloud) * 5+ years designing and implementing Cisco ISE including HA, patching, and upgrades * 3+ years with ISE 802.1X NAC, guest lifecycle, profiling, TrustSec, and Cisco security features including IPS, URL filtering, DNS-based security, SSL/TLS decryption, and cloud firewall deployments in AWS/Azure/GCP * Travel up to 50% on average * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
