Senior, SAP Tax Technology - Global Trade

Experteer Overview In this role you help clients maximize SAP Global Trade capabilities to enable scalable, compliant trade operations. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to design and deploy technology-enabled business processes, modernize core systems, and drive innovation in international trade management. You’ll engage with clients to assess current systems, close gaps, and deliver complex implementation support in a fast-paced environment. This position supports Deloitte’s SAP GTS practice growth and knowledge sharing across the firm, with a focus on tangible business outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Assess existing information systems and identify gaps during client workshops * Assess and deploy technology solutions to enable international trade management operations * Plan and support compliance and automation for import/export processes * Develop customized solutions and draft functional designs with strong analytical thinking * Support new business processes around global trade, supply chain, and other key functions * Deliver and support complex SAP implementations in a team environment * Contribute to knowledge sharing and Deloitte’s SAP GTS practice growth * Contribute to development of SAP GTS practice globally Tasks * Minimum 5 years of SAP consulting or industry experience * Experience implementing SAP GTS modules: Compliance Management, Customs Management, Trade Preference * Technical or functional lead on at least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations * Experience with SAP ECC or S/4 modules: SD, MM, LE * Bachelor’s degree in a legal, business or technology related field * Ability to travel up to 10% * Strong analytical and critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills * Knowledge of export regulations ITAR/EAR (preferred) * Active accreditations or willingness to obtain relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, attorney, Enrolled Agent, SAP certifications) * Ability to work in a hybrid in-person/remote model (US-based co-location 2-3 days/week) Key requirements *
