Cloud Security Senior Manager - Azure Infrastructure & AI

Experteer Overview In this role you drive Azure and AI security outcomes for large client engagements, leading security design, implementation, and governance within Microsoft Azure and AI services. You’ll oversee multi-project delivery, mentor teams, and shape security playbooks and MLOps practices to secure cloud and AI deployments. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to align security with client objectives and Deloitte’s Enterprise Security mission. This is a chance to influence secure digital transformation at scale and showcase leadership in a leading consulting security practice. Compensation / Benefits * Lead Microsoft security engagements focusing on Azure and AI security services, including strategy, design, implementation, and adoption * Direct multiple Azure and AI security projects in senior roles, coordinating onsite and offshore engineers and architects * Design and implement security controls for Azure AI Services (Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, Cognitive Services, AI Studio) from development to deployment * Develop AI security playbooks and governance controls (encryption, access, data integrity, model governance, secure deployment) across Azure environments * Build and automate secure cloud and MLOps pipelines using Azure Policy, ARM, Bicep, Terraform to enforce security guardrails * Lead business development, client relationships, health checks, PoC efforts, and thought leadership within Microsoft Azure and AI security space * Mentor teams and provide clear guidance, manage deadlines, and maintain high quality deliverables Tasks * 10+ years in technical consulting, client problem solving, and architecting security solutions with Microsoft Azure and AI security technologies and related tools (Entra ID, Defender suite, Purview, Sentinel, Security Copilot) including leadership of scope and delivery across multiple proposals and projects * 10+ years in enterprise security operations/architecture or infrastructure operations with 3+ years in consulting leadership focused on Microsoft security technologies * 5+ years designing or assessing security controls in Microsoft Azure environments including Azure AI Services * 5+ years in IAM, network security, data protection, logging/monitoring, vulnerability management, and IaC in cloud environments * Ability to travel ~50% and willingness to work with diverse client environments * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * compensation range $163,400-$322,100 * reasonable accommodations policy * limited immigration sponsorship may be available
