Cloud Security Senior Manager - Azure Infrastructure & AI

Experteer Overview In this role, you will lead Microsoft Azure and AI security efforts for large client engagements, shaping security strategy, design, and adoption. You’ll steer Azure and AI security projects, guide onsite and offshore teams, and develop secure cloud and ML pipelines. You’ll implement governance, encryption, and model security across Azure environments while driving business development and mentorship. This role offers impact across secure digital transformation and industry-leading security practices. Compensation / Benefits * Lead Microsoft security teams for large, complex client engagements focused on Azure and AI security services, including strategy, design, implementation, and adoption * Oversee multiple Azure and AI security projects in project leader and program manager roles, coordinating onsite and offshore engineers and architects * Design and implement security controls for Azure AI Services (Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, AI Studio) from development to deployment * Develop AI security playbooks and governance controls (encryption, access control, data integrity, model scanning, model governance, data security, secure deployment) across Azure * Build and automate secure cloud and MLOps pipelines using Azure Policy, ARM, Bicep, and Terraform to enforce guardrails across Azure platforms * Lead business development, client relationships, health checks, POC efforts, transitions, thought leadership, and talent development in Azure and AI security Tasks * 10+ years of experience in security solutions with Microsoft Azure and AI security technologies, including Entra ID, Defender suites, Purview, Sentinel, and Security Copilot; plus experience leading scope, pricing, and delivery across multiple proposals and projects * 10+ years in enterprise security operations/architecture or infrastructure ops, plus 3+ years in consulting leadership focused on Microsoft security technologies * 5+ years designing or assessing security controls in Microsoft Azure environments including Azure AI Services * 5+ years in IAM, network security, data protection, logging, monitoring, vulnerability management, and infrastructure as code in cloud environments * Ability to travel ~50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
