Solutions Architect, Manager - Tax Transformation

Compensation / Benefits * Understand business challenges with stakeholders and translate them into architecture options and a technical roadmap * Collaborate with Architecture team to design and continuously improve architecture to meet resiliency standards * Make high-level design choices for software structure, frameworks, protocols, and algorithms * Provide hands-on support to the team implementing complex business logic and algorithms * Plan and execute software development projects with timely delivery and quality outcomes * Participate in daily SCRUM and provide task updates * Implement security best practices to protect data and ensure regulatory compliance * Enforce standards, guidelines, and metrics to deliver business value quickly and efficiently * Coordinate across delivery teams and vendors to maintain delivery standards and code quality * Identify, mitigate, and escalate product-related risks * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features * Coordinate with DevOps for seamless deployment and operation of backend services * Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback * Coach the team on coding practices, tools, and technology pathfinding * Develop and maintain architecture and design documentation Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field * 5+ years of architecture design and hands-on experience in C#, SQL Server, OOPS concepts, and microservices * Hands-on experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, SQL, NoSQL, REST APIs, microservices, Azure, and design patterns * Proven experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure * Willingness to travel up to 10% * Active accreditations (CPA, Attorney, Enrolled Agent or relevant technology certifications) * Preferred: knowledge of distributed computing, Angular, MongoDB, NPM, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes; Agile environment knowledge * Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * hybrid work model * accommodations for disabilities * professional development opportunities * collaboration with diverse teams * competitive compensation
