Solutions Architect, Manager - Tax Transformation

Experteer Overview As a Deloitte Tax Solution Architect, Manager, you help build enterprise, web-based applications that meet high standards and drive Deloitte’s tax transformation. You collaborate with architecture and delivery teams to craft scalable, secure solutions and guide implementation of complex business logic. You will shape technical roadmaps, mentor teams, and ensure timely delivery while aligning with regulatory requirements and DevOps practices. This role places you at the intersection of technology, tax advisory, and enterprise-scale impact, shaping how clients engage and how services are delivered. Compensation / Benefits * Understand business challenges with stakeholders and define architectural options and roadmaps * Design and continuously improve architecture to meet resiliency and security standards * Make high-level design decisions on software structure, frameworks, protocols, and algorithms * Support implementation of complex business logic and algorithms * Plan and execute software development projects with timely delivery and quality * Participate in SCRUM and provide task updates * Implement security best practices and regulatory compliance * Establish standards, guidelines, and metrics to accelerate value delivery * Coordinate across delivery teams and vendors to maintain quality and guidelines * Identify and mitigate product-related risks and collaborate with cross-functional teams * Work with DevOps to ensure deployment and operation of backend services * Conduct code reviews and mentor team on best practices * Develop and maintain architecture/design documentation Tasks * 5+ years in architecture design and implementation with hands-on experience in C#, SQL Server, OOP concepts, microservices * Hands-on experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, SQL, NoSQL, REST APIs, Azure, design patterns, Agile * Proven experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure * Willingness/ability to travel up to 10% * Active accreditations from listed options (CPA/Attorney/Enrolled Agent or security/IT certifications) * Proficiency in distributed computing and experience with Angular, MongoDB, NPM, and Azure DevOps (preferred) * Strong programming languages knowledge (C#, Java, or Python) and RESTful APIs * Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD practices * Familiarity with security and data protection measures Key requirements * broad range of benefits * opportunities for professional development * inclusive culture * work flexibility (hybrid)
