Job description

Experteer Overview In this role, you drive enterprise web applications within Deloitte’s Tax Transformation Office, shaping architecture and guiding delivery to meet resiliency and security standards. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn business challenges into scalable software solutions and coach teams on best practices. You will engage in hands-on implementation, architecture design, and technology roadmaps to keep systems current and competitive. This is a chance to influence how tax services are delivered through digital architecture and DevOps-driven delivery. Compensation / Benefits * Understand business challenges with stakeholders and define architecture options and a technology roadmap * Design and continuously improve architecture to meet resiliency standards with Architecture team * Make high-level design choices for software structure, frameworks, and algorithms * Contribute hands-on to implementing complex business logic and algorithms * Plan and execute software development projects; participate in SCRUM and provide task updates * Implement security best practices to ensure data protection and regulatory compliance * Set and enforce standards, guidelines, and metrics to deliver value quickly and efficiently * Coordinate across delivery teams and vendors to maintain delivery standards and code quality * Identify and mitigate product risks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features * Coach team on coding practices, development tools, and technology pathfinding * Develop and maintain architecture/design documentation * Support seamless deployment and operation with DevOps teams * Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field * 5+ years of architecture design and hands-on experience with C#, SQL Server, OOPS concepts, microservices * Hands-on experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, SQL, NoSQL, REST APIs, microservices, Azure, design patterns, Agile * Proven experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure * Ability to travel up to 10% * One of several professional accreditations listed (CPA/Enrolled Agent/Attorney) or technology certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, CISSP, CRISC, SAFe certifications, CSSLP, PSD, Open CA, ISTQB, MCSD/MCSE, Azure certifications * Familiarity with Angular, MongoDB, NPM, and Azure DevOps Build/Release configuration (preferred) * Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaborative skills Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * hybrid work model noted * professional development opportunities * inclusive culture and support for accommodations * various Deloitte benefits and well-being programs
