Job description

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer with 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience to serve as a senior technical resource within our ServiceNow team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and enhancing solutions across the ServiceNow platform while acting as a go-to resource for complex technical challenges and platform best practices. The ideal candidate will possess broad ServiceNow expertise across multiple modules rather than deep experience in only one area, enabling them to support a wide variety of business and technical initiatives. While this role will partner closely with architects and platform leadership, it is not expected to function as a dedicated architect. This company has implemented a new instance of ServiceNow, with additional modules and enhancements on the roadmap.

Requirements

8+ years of ServiceNow development experience

Hands-on development experience across multiple ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, CSM, Service Portal, Asset Management, Knowledge Management

Experience developing integrations using REST, SOAP, APIs, and web services.

Strong JavaScript development experience.

Experience supporting enterprise-level ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.

Ability to serve as the technical escalation point for complex platform issues.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

Additional ServiceNow implementation or module certifications.

Experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC), or SecOps.

Experience with AI, Virtual Agent, Performance Analytics, or ServiceNow Workspace implementations.

Experience mentoring development teams or leading technical workstreams.

Benefits & conditions

This is a fully remote role, and a 6-month contract to hire. The hourly rate for this position is between $65-68/hr. Benefits are offered throughout the contract period and upon conversion.
