Job description
- Gathering and documenting data requirements from internal stakeholders and business teams
- Analysing data quality issues and implementing solutions to improve data integrity
- Building and maintaining data pipelines that align analytical outputs with business needs
- Engaging with stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and translate them into actionable insights
- Performing financial and operational analysis to support decision-making
- Creating reports and visualisations using tools such as Power BI and Excel
- Collaborating with data engineering and business teams to ensure seamless data flow
- Documenting data processes and maintaining clear audit trails
Requirements
This is an opportunity to register your interest in future Data Analyst positions on a contract basis, working within a dynamic team that values analytical rigour and collaborative problem-solving. Roles of this type could see you based in Manchester, Greater Manchester, working on meaningful projects where your ability to analyse complex datasets and communicate findings clearly could make a tangible difference to how the business operates and grows., * Demonstrated experience in data requirements gathering and pipeline alignment
- Proven ability to analyse data quality and implement improvements
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate business needs into analytical solutions
- Proficiency with SQL and data analysis tools such as Power BI or Excel
- Experience with financial and operational analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related quantitative discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Nice-to-have
- Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Knowledge of Python or other programming languages for data manipulation
- Familiarity with data pipeline tools or ETL processes
- Background in CSDR or data governance frameworks
