Job description

Data Specialists could play a vital role in building and maintaining the data infrastructure that drives business intelligence and analytics. This opportunity focuses on gathering, analysing and ensuring the quality of data pipelines to support stakeholders across the organisation., This is an opportunity to register your interest in future Data Specialist roles, positions that could involve working with cross-functional teams to translate data requirements into operational pipelines and reporting solutions. Roles of this type may sit within a collaborative environment in Manchester, where you could contribute to data quality initiatives, stakeholder engagement and the alignment of data assets to business needs. This is a contract position, offered at £400-500 per day., * Collaborating with technical teams to align data pipelines with business objectives

  • Conducting data quality analysis to identify gaps, inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement
  • Engaging with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into actionable insights
  • Supporting the maintenance and optimisation of data quality frameworks
  • Contributing to financial analysis and operational reporting where required
  • Working with tools and platforms to extract, transform and validate data, Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role:

Requirements

  • Experience in data requirements gathering and pipeline alignment
  • Demonstrated capability in data quality analysis and validation
  • Proficiency with data tools and platforms such as Power BI, SQL or Python
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related quantitative field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • The ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
  • Familiarity with financial analysis or operational reporting
