Job description

Roles of this type may sit within collaborative engineering teams working across cloud platforms including Azure, AWS and GCP. The work could involve designing, implementing and maintaining infrastructure solutions that support distributed systems, containerisation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. You could contribute to building robust, automated infrastructure that enables development teams to deploy and scale applications efficiently., * Supporting the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS or GCP platforms

Contributing to CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance
Managing containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes
Working with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform to automate deployment and scaling
Supporting the deployment and configuration of distributed systems and microservices architectures
Collaborating with development teams to ensure infrastructure meets application requirements
Monitoring system performance and contributing to operational improvements
Maintaining Linux and Windows environments within secure network architectures

Requirements

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
Working knowledge of containerisation (Docker and Kubernetes)
Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools (Terraform, Bash)
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows system administration
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Nice-to-have

Master’s degree or equivalent advanced qualification
Experience with microservices and distributed systems architecture
Knowledge of .NET, Java or Python in infrastructure contexts
Exposure to API design and implementation
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
Understanding of network security concepts (DMZ, F5 load balancing)
