Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking to register interest from Infrastructure Engineers for future contract opportunities within our growing Infrastructure / Cloud / DevOps team. These roles could focus on designing, building and maintaining robust cloud and on-premises infrastructure to support critical business operations.

About the opportunity

This is an opportunity to register your interest in future Infrastructure Engineer contract roles, positions that could involve delivering scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments. Roles of this type may sit within collaborative technical teams where infrastructure engineering supports the delivery of modern applications and services.

The work could involve partnering with development, operations and security teams to architect and maintain infrastructure that underpins business-critical systems, with scope to contribute to infrastructure standards and technical decisions across your area of responsibility., * Designing, deploying and managing infrastructure across Azure, AWS and on-premises environments

• Supporting the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Managing containerisation technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Maintaining and optimising Linux and Windows-based systems
• Collaborating with development teams to support application deployment and infrastructure requirements
• Contributing to infrastructure documentation, runbooks and technical standards
• Troubleshooting infrastructure issues and implementing solutions to improve reliability and performance
• Working with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure or AWS
• Working knowledge of containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling
• Strong Linux and Windows system administration skills
• Understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure design
• Scripting and automation experience (Bash, Python or equivalent)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Nice-to-have

• Master’s degree or equivalent advanced qualification
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
• Knowledge of SAP infrastructure or enterprise application hosting
• Experience with monitoring, logging and observability platforms
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks such as CSDR
• Familiarity with additional cloud platforms such as GCP
