Job description

Infrastructure Specialists could be central to ensuring that systems run reliably and scale efficiently. A core challenge could involve managing cloud platforms, containerisation, and deployment pipelines to support modern, distributed applications., * Managing and optimising cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP to support application delivery

Designing and maintaining containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes
Building and managing CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing workflows
Supporting infrastructure-as-code practices using tools such as Terraform
Configuring and maintaining Linux and Windows environments
Collaborating with application teams to ensure infrastructure meets performance and reliability requirements
Monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements
Contributing to infrastructure security, compliance and operational best practices

Requirements

Solid experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP)
Working knowledge of containerisation and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes)
Experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline automation
Linux and Windows system administration
Scripting or automation experience (Bash, Python or similar)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline

Nice-to-have

Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
Experience in regulated or high-availability environments
Master’s degree
Relevant cloud certifications
