Job description
Infrastructure Specialists could be central to ensuring that systems run reliably and scale efficiently. A core challenge could involve managing cloud platforms, containerisation, and deployment pipelines to support modern, distributed applications., * Managing and optimising cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP to support application delivery
- Designing and maintaining containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Building and managing CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing workflows
- Supporting infrastructure-as-code practices using tools such as Terraform
- Configuring and maintaining Linux and Windows environments
- Collaborating with application teams to ensure infrastructure meets performance and reliability requirements
- Monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements
- Contributing to infrastructure security, compliance and operational best practices
Requirements
- Solid experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Working knowledge of containerisation and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline automation
- Linux and Windows system administration
- Scripting or automation experience (Bash, Python or similar)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Nice-to-have
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
- Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
- Experience in regulated or high-availability environments
- Master’s degree
- Relevant cloud certifications
