Job description
Roles of this type typically sit within forward-thinking technology teams where infrastructure underpins business-critical applications and services. You could find yourself working on cloud migration projects, containerised workloads, infrastructure automation and system optimisation. The work could involve collaborating across development and operations teams to architect solutions that balance performance, security and cost efficiency, with scope to contribute to technical decisions and raise infrastructure standards., * Supporting the design and deployment of cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS or GCP
- Contributing to CI/CD pipeline implementation and improvement
- Managing containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Supporting infrastructure automation using Terraform and similar tools
- Maintaining and optimising Linux and Windows server environments
- Collaborating with development teams on microservices and distributed system architecture
- Contributing to monitoring, logging and performance optimisation
- Supporting security and compliance within infrastructure design
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Working knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of CI/CD principles and tools
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or equivalent)
- Proficiency with Linux and/or Windows system administration
- Problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Nice-to-have
- Experience with .NET, Java or Python in infrastructure contexts
- Knowledge of SAP infrastructure (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP RISE)
- Familiarity with API design and microservices architecture
- Experience with data pipelines and data quality frameworks
- Master’s degree or cloud certification (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Exposure to security frameworks (CSDR, QMS)
