Job description

Roles of this type may sit within a collaborative, data-driven environment where business intelligence is central to strategic decision-making. The work could involve partnering across business, analytics and technical teams to translate data requirements into clear, actionable dashboards and reports. You could have scope to improve data quality and stakeholder engagement while working with modern data platforms and tools., * Designing and developing Power BI dashboards and reports that support business intelligence and decision-making

  • Working with data pipelines and ensuring data quality across reporting solutions
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective visualisations
  • Managing data connections, transformations and refresh schedules within Power BI
  • Supporting the integration of Power BI solutions with Azure and other enterprise platforms
  • Documenting solutions and best practices to support team knowledge-sharing

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards, reports and data models
  • Proficiency with SQL and data quality analysis
  • Understanding of data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Microsoft Power BI Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Azure data services or cloud-based analytics platforms
  • Familiarity with APIs and microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of additional BI tools or analytics platforms
  • Experience in an Agile environment
