Job description

Roles of this type may sit within data and business intelligence teams, supporting the delivery of analytics platforms and reporting solutions that help stakeholders understand and act on key business data. The work could involve collaborating with data engineers, business analysts and end users to translate requirements into effective Power BI implementations, with scope to improve data quality and stakeholder engagement in data-driven outcomes., * Designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements

  • Building data models and transformations to support analytics and reporting
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into visualisation solutions
  • Ensuring data quality and accuracy within reports and datasets
  • Supporting the deployment and maintenance of Power BI solutions across the organisation
  • Working with data pipelines and Azure services to integrate data sources
  • Conducting data quality analysis and implementing improvements

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Power BI, including report development, data modelling and DAX
  • Experience with SQL and data querying
  • Strong understanding of data quality principles and practices
  • Stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Microsoft Power BI Certification or equivalent professional credentials
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience in Azure environments or cloud-based analytics platforms

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Familiarity with APIs and data integration approaches
  • Knowledge of additional BI tools or analytics platforms
  • Experience in regulated industries or with data governance frameworks
