Power BI Specialist

• Designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to business requirements
• Connecting Power BI to data sources including SQL databases and APIs
• Performing data quality analysis to ensure reporting accuracy and reliability
• Engaging with stakeholders to understand their analytics needs and translate them into effective visualisations
• Optimizing Power BI models and queries for performance
• Documenting solutions and providing guidance to users on how to use reports and dashboards
• Supporting the maintenance and refinement of existing Power BI solutions

• Demonstrated experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards
• Proficiency in SQL and data query languages
• Strong understanding of data quality principles and practices
• Experience working with APIs and connecting to multiple data sources
• Comfortable engaging with non-technical stakeholders to clarify requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• Microsoft Power BI Certification or equivalent demonstrated expertise

Nice-to-have skills and experience:

• Familiarity with Azure and cloud-based data platforms
• Knowledge of data pipelines and ETL concepts
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages for data manipulation
• Exposure to additional Microsoft tools such as Excel or Analysis Services
