Hardware Technical Support / Field Service Specialist

We are a small Engineering and Manufacturing team that is seeking a Hardware Technical Support / Field Service Specialist to build and ship our electro-mechanical products, support our customers, and maintain our demo/test equipment., * Customer technical support

• Field service
• Industrial product assembly, testing, repair
• Assembly of electromechanical subsystems, wire harnesses
• Packing/shipping of products
• Inventory management
• Engineering support
• Providing applications expertise
• Print sample making
• Product installation and training
• Trade show setup
• Support demo equipment
• Some travel is required

Do you have experience in Packing?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, Education - Minimum High School Diploma / GED with relevant technical training or hands-on certifications. Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.

Work Experience

• 2+ years of experience with hardware technical support and/or industrial product assembly.

Technical Skills

• Strong foundational knowledge of AC/DC theory and industrial control components, including wire harnesses, solenoids, relays and sensors
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
• Proficiency with computers; Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy
• Excellent communication skills, spelling, grammar
• Pleasant attitude when dealing with customers
• Willingness to do whatever is needed and wear many hats
