SC Cleared Interaction Designer

We’re supporting a major Central Government programme and are looking for an experienced Interaction Designer to join a multidisciplinary digital team delivering user-centred public services.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile government projects, helping shape intuitive and accessible services that make a real impact for citizens across the UK. Essential Requirements

? Active SC Clearance (must be current and transferable)

? Strong experience working within Central Government environments

? Proven delivery experience aligned to GDS (Government Digital Service) standards

? Experience designing end-to-end user journeys and service interactions

? Ability to work effectively within agile, multidisciplinary teams

? Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills Key Responsibilities

• Design user-centred interactions for complex digital services
• Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and service flows
• Apply GDS principles, standards and best practices throughout delivery
• Collaborate closely with User Researchers, Content Designers, Developers and Product Managers
• Contribute to service assessments and ensure accessibility standards are met
• Translate user needs and business requirements into effective digital experiences

Contract Details

• Rate: Up to £550 per day
• IR35: Inside IR35
• Duration: Initial 6 months
• Location: Bristol, London or Newcastle
• Working Pattern: Hybrid, with 1-2 days per week onsite
• Start: ASAP
