Job description
We’re looking for a practical, hands-on Warehouse & Fulfilment Technician to join our team in Blackpool. If you enjoy working with IT hardware, picking and packing orders, checking quality and getting shipments out the door accurately, this could be a great fit.
This role is centred on our outbound fulfilment operation. You’ll be preparing and dispatching enterprise IT hardware; Individual components, full system builds and bulk orders. Making sure every shipment is picked, checked and packed to a high standard.
It’s ideal for someone who is organised, detail-focused and comfortable working with hardware in a warehouse or workshop environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Using our ERP system to create shipments of outbound goods
- Picking individual parts, full system builds and bulk orders
- QC’ing other picks to make sure they’re correct and complete
- Packing individual parts, full system builds and bulk orders
- Maintaining a high quality of work across picking, checking and packing
- Working with enterprise IT hardware including servers, storage, networking equipment, workstations and individual components
- Keeping accurate records of shipments, stock and fulfilment work
- Maintaining a tidy and organised workspace
- Handling heavy equipment on a daily basis
Requirements
- Good attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy
- Comfortable using a computer and ERP/stock system (training provided)
- Reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- A practical, hands-on approach to working with hardware
- Experience in a warehouse, fulfilment or workshop environment is a plus
Nice to have (not required)
- Previous warehouse, picking/packing or fulfilment experience
- Basic understanding of IT hardware and server components
