Data Architect

Roles of this type may involve working with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable data solutions that support business intelligence, analytics and operational reporting. You could find yourself collaborating across infrastructure, application development and business stakeholder groups, translating data requirements into architected solutions that balance technical excellence with practical delivery constraints. The work could span data pipeline design, integration patterns, cloud platform strategy and the governance frameworks that keep data reliable and accessible., * Designing end-to-end data architectures that align business requirements with technical capability

• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather, validate and prioritise data requirements across the organisation
• Defining data pipeline patterns, integration approaches and quality frameworks
• Evaluating and recommending cloud platforms, tools and technologies to support data strategy
• Ensuring data quality standards are embedded throughout the architecture
• Working with delivery teams to translate designs into implemented solutions
• Documenting architecture decisions, data flows and governance policies
• Supporting the alignment of data initiatives across business and technical functions

• Demonstrated experience designing data architectures at enterprise scale
• Strong background in data pipeline design, data quality management and integration patterns
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with SQL, data modelling and working knowledge of databases
• Familiarity with modern development practices including CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code approaches
• Ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience

Technical depth in one or more of the following would strengthen your profile: SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC environments, .NET and ASP.NET, Java and Spring Boot, Python, Power BI, Terraform, or Linux administration.
