Data Infrastructure Engineers play a pivotal role in building and maintaining the backbone of modern data systems, designing scalable pipelines and ensuring data flows reliably across distributed architectures. This is an opportunity to register your interest in future Data Infrastructure Engineer positions where you could contribute to building resilient, high-performance data platforms that support business intelligence and analytics at scale., We are looking to build our team with Data Infrastructure Engineers who could work on designing, implementing and optimizing data pipelines and infrastructure. These roles could involve collaborating with data teams, analytics specialists and engineering stakeholders to ensure data quality, pipeline reliability and seamless integration across systems. You could contribute to modernizing data architectures, implementing CI/CD practices for data workflows and ensuring data systems meet evolving business requirements., * Designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using modern tools and frameworks
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Building and maintaining data infrastructure supporting analytics and business intelligence
- Implementing data quality checks and monitoring to ensure pipeline reliability
- Working with distributed systems, microservices and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Contributing to CI/CD automation for data workflows and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Troubleshooting data flow issues and optimizing pipeline performance
- Supporting integration of data sources and ensuring alignment with downstream analytics needs, * Opportunity to work on modern, scalable data infrastructure supporting critical business analytics
- Exposure to diverse cloud platforms, containerization technologies and distributed systems
- Potential to develop expertise across the full data pipeline lifecycle, from design through optimization
- Collaborative environment working alongside data engineers, analytics teams and platform specialists
- Scope to contribute to infrastructure improvements and best practices in data management
- Contract-based flexibility with competitive daily rates (£500-650 per day)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Demonstrated experience with data pipeline development and data infrastructure
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, .NET or similar)
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational or distributed databases
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of data quality principles and pipeline monitoring
- Experience with APIs, microservices and distributed systems architecture
Nice-to-have
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Google Cloud Data Engineer certification
- Experience with data orchestration tools and workflow automation
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Background in data requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments
