Data Infrastructure Engineer

• Implementing CI/CD practices to automate data infrastructure deployment and testing
• Managing containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure reliable data processing
• Collaborating with data teams to understand requirements and align infrastructure with data quality and pipeline needs
• Maintaining and optimising data systems for performance, reliability and cost-efficiency
• Working with distributed systems and microservices architectures to support data flow across the organisation
• Contributing to infrastructure-as-code initiatives using tools such as Terraform

• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and data infrastructure
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java or similar)
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Right to work in the United Kingdom

Nice-to-have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC environments
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks and data requirements gathering
• Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems design
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
• Google Cloud Data Engineer certification or equivalent
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
