Job description

Roles of this type may sit within collaborative delivery teams focused on building robust data solutions and analytics infrastructure. The work could involve partnering with stakeholders across business and technical functions to design, develop and maintain Power BI solutions that drive informed decision-making. You could have scope to contribute to the quality and accessibility of data pipelines, ensuring that analytics outputs meet business requirements and technical standards., * Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports and data models to support business decision-making

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand analytics requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Working with data pipelines and ensuring data quality throughout the analytics workflow
  • Contributing to the design and optimisation of Power BI solutions across platforms and tools
  • Supporting integration between Power BI and wider data infrastructure, including cloud platforms and APIs
  • Documenting solutions and best practices to support team knowledge and solution maintainability
  • Engaging with business users to gather feedback and iterate on analytics deliverables

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience developing Power BI solutions, including dashboards, reports and data models
  • Proficiency in SQL and data quality analysis to support accurate analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
  • Microsoft Power BI Certification or equivalent demonstrable expertise
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical delivery
  • Experience working within data-driven environments and understanding data pipelines

Nice-to-have

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Experience with APIs, microservices or distributed systems
  • Knowledge of .NET, ASP.NET, Python or other programming languages
  • Understanding of CI/CD practices and modern development workflows
  • Exposure to additional BI tools or advanced analytics platforms
