Job description

Designing and implementing scalable cloud platform solutions on Azure, AWS or GCP
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Working with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to orchestrate workloads
Contributing to infrastructure-as-code implementations using tools such as Terraform
Supporting the integration and maintenance of microservices-based architectures
Collaborating with development teams to optimise application deployment and performance
Monitoring, troubleshooting and improving platform reliability and efficiency
Documenting platform architecture, processes and runbooks

Requirements

Demonstrable experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices
Proficiency with containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Strong Linux and Windows operating system knowledge
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
Bash scripting and automation capabilities
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Right to work in the United Kingdom

Nice-to-have

Experience with .NET, ASP.NET, Java or Python in a platform context
Familiarity with distributed systems design principles
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC or SAP RISE environments
Experience with data pipeline architecture or data quality implementation
Understanding of BPMN or UML for system design
Kubernetes certification or equivalent hands-on expertise
