Mainframe Operator (Computer Operations Supervisor)

Location: Pontiac, MI 48341 (100% Onsite - No remote option. Applicants may be requested to work holidays, days, afternoons, and/or midnight shifts.) Summary & Objectives Functions as a Level 1 Incident Manager for critical incidents and events relating to various IT technologies. This role requires quick action to create, escalate, triage, and track customer technology-related incidents. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating effectively with IT staff, customers, and vendors. Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Level 1 Incident Manager for critical IT technology incidents.
• Create, escalate, triage, and track customer technology-related incidents.
• Utilize graphical monitoring systems to track the availability and status of infrastructure connectivity, assets, and services.
• Monitor mainframe control consoles and periodically check system performance.
• Assist with the review and validation of mainframe Job Control Language (JCL).
• Perform deliveries as assigned (must be able to lift up to 50 pounds).

• Core Requirements: Must have in-depth knowledge and at least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Teams.
• Mainframe: Experience operating and monitoring an IBM Mainframe environment, including Job Control Language (JCL).
• Monitoring Tools: Proficiency with graphical monitoring systems including What’s Up Gold, Pingdom, and PRTG.
