Job description

Functions as a Level 1 Incident Manager for critical incidents/events relating to various IT technologies. Quickly create, escalate, triage, and track customer technology-related incidents. Excellent communication skills are necessary to collaborate with IT staff, customers, and vendors., * Monitor graphical systems tracking the availability and status of infrastructure connectivity, assets, and services.

  • Monitor mainframe control consoles and periodically check system performance.
  • Assist with the review and validation of Mainframe Job Control Language (JCL).
  • Create, escalate, triage, and track technology-related incidents.
  • Perform deliveries and other assigned operational tasks.
  • Collaborate with IT staff, customers, and vendors during critical incidents.
  • Maintain awareness of system availability and infrastructure status.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Work schedules may include holidays, days, afternoons, and/or midnight shifts.

Requirements

Intermediate Technical Environment / Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft Teams
  • In-depth knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Teams
  • What’s Up Gold
  • Pingdom
  • PRTG
  • IBM Mainframe
  • Experience with mainframe monitoring and operational support
  • Experience with incident management and escalation processes
