Job description

The purpose of this position is to assist the Director of Web Services to provide advanced administration, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise business systems that support institutional operations. Primary platforms include NeoEd (recruiting, onboarding, performance management, learning and training, and eForms), Ellucian Experience (forms, workflows, and user provisioning), and Microsoft-based solutions (SharePoint, Power Automate, and Entra ID). This position focuses on analyzing business processes, improving operational efficiency, aligning systems to support student success outcomes, and performing other college-wide systems analyst duties as assigned. This position works alongside the Academic Systems Analyst to ensure a cohesive enterprise systems strategy., This position is eligible for remote work in the state of Texas, preferably in the South Texas Region. Remote staff may be required to attend meetings/trainings on campus in Corpus Christi, Texas, possibly once a quarter. Travel and lodging expenses will be provided by Del Mar College for staff required to travel onsite. Remote work employees must meet these criteria for the remote work location: Adequate desk space in a dedicated, contained area that is secured and protected at all times.

Furniture will not be provided by Del Mar College. Remote work location is in a quiet environment free of background people and noise during business hours. On-camera meetings may be required with staff and/or department leadership, at the discretion of the supervisor. Remote staff will be required to maintain an online presence with the Microsoft Teams application during working hours, unless arrangements have been made with the supervisor. Computer device, mobile hotspot, and other equipment, software, and resources necessary to perform job duties will be provided. Electricity, internet/wi-fi, and other utilities are the responsibility of the employee. Mobile/cellular phone may be issued to employees upon request and supervisor approval., This is a security-sensitive position. Administer and configure Ellucian Experience platform.

Maintain and configure SharePoint and Adobe Sign solutions.

Manage system configurations, workflows, permissions, and upgrades. Job Duty Business Process Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Analyze academic and administrative processes for efficiency improvements.

Identify gaps and recommend system-based solutions.

Support redesign of workflows aligned to institutional goals. Job Duty Integration & Automation: Support system integrations.

Develop Power Automate workflows.

Manage identity lifecycle processes. Job Duty Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with administrative departments.

Gather and translate business requirements into system configurations.

Support system adoption and provide advanced guidance. Job Duty Reporting & Analytics: Support reporting for administrative processes.

Provide insights for decision-making. Job Duty Documentation & Training: Develop SOP’s and documentation.

Provide training to faculty and staff on systems and processes. Job Duty Implementation & Training:

Assist with implementation of new modules, features, and systems Evaluate new tools to enhance business operations. Job Duty Other Duties: Work with vendors on troubleshooting and enhancements.

Support governance committees and institutional initiatives.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Level I - Grade 516: Knowledge is acquired through the attainment of a Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of experience OR Associate’s degree and three (3) years of experience.

Level II - Grade 517: Knowledge is acquired through the attainment of a Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of experience OR Associate’s degree and five (5) years of experience.

Level III - Grade 518: Knowledge is acquired through the attainment of a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience OR Associate’s degree and seven (7) years of experience. Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Administration of enterprise business systems (NeoEd, Ellucian Experience, or similar). Business process analysis and continuous improvement. Workflow automation using Power Automate or similar tools. SharePoint-based solutions (forms, lists, document workflows). Identity and access management (Entra ID, provisioning). System integrations, APIs, and data flows. Troubleshooting complex technical and data issues. Strong documentation and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ERP/SIS platforms (e.g., Colleague). NeoEd modules experience (recruiting, onboarding, performance, learning, eForms). Knowledge of Ellucian Experience (forms and workflow automation). Adobe Sign or similar e-signature tools. Microsoft 365 administration experience. Higher education administrative processes knowledge. Vendor coordination experience.

Reporting and analytics experience.
