Full Stack Java Developer- DHS Clearance

Matrix Systems & Technologies Inc is looking for a talented Full Stack Java Developer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical systems supporting the Department of Homeland Security in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. If you hold an active DHS clearance and are passionate about building robust, scalable solutions, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain full stack Java-based applications for DHS programs and initiatives Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices using Java/Spring Boot frameworks Develop responsive front-end interfaces using modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, business analysts, and QA engineers Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives Ensure application security, performance, and compliance with federal IT standards Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

Active DHS clearance required 3+ years of full stack development experience with Java and related frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot) Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience working in Agile development environments Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
