Job description

We’re partnering with a leading cyber organisation seeking Senior Software Engineers to support the delivery of advanced software capabilities across a number of mission-critical programmes.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex technical challenges, influence engineering direction and help deliver secure solutions that make a tangible impact within the cyber and national security space.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leading the development of complex software solutions in secure environments.
Providing technical leadership across engineering teams and project delivery activities.
Embedding security considerations throughout solution design and development.
Driving engineering best practice, quality standards and continuous improvement.
Supporting the development and mentoring of junior team members.
Contributing to architectural discussions and technical strategy initiatives.

Requirements

Extensive software engineering experience within complex technical environments.
Strong expertise in Java, C#, C++ or comparable technologies.
Deep understanding of software engineering principles and secure development practices.
Experience leading teams, technical workstreams or major engineering deliverables.
Strong knowledge of development tooling, testing methodologies and CI/CD.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a broad range of stakeholders.
