Senior Technical Analyst

The Senior Technical Analyst transforms business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications, ensuring smooth delivery by development and QA teams. He supports Agile refinement, contributes to issue diagnosis (UAT & production), and helps drive a major transformation project migrating a monolithic application to a microservice-based architecture.

On behalf of our client operating in the public sector, we are looking for an Senior Technical Analyst (10+ years of experience)., * Strong knowledge of UML, BPMN, and both functional and technical analysis.

• Ability to clearly describe both current (“as-is”) and target (“to-be”) business processes.
• Ability to estimate development time and cost collaboratively within a team setting.
• Proven expertise in opportunity analysis and strategic vision, with the capability to: challenge assumptions/ propose alternative solutions/ apply pragmatic decision-making aligned with project goals/ optimize deliverables, timelines, budget, and quality.
• Knowledge of data management, enabling the analyst to query and interpret datasets to understand successful flows or error cases.
• Leadership potential for junior teams or project coordination tasks.

Profile & Skills:

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum with strong skills in BPMN, UML, and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence. Proficient with Git, Postman, SoapUI, and SQL, with solid exposure to microservices-based architectures.
• Ability to design Sequence Diagrams, write interface contracts (synchronous and asynchronous), and build consistent data models with strong SQL expertise.
• Understanding of testing methodologies.
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with very good command of English.
